How to measure
Are you choosing roller blinds or shutters but don't know how to measure the windows correctly? Then this information will be of interest to you, because the ease of installation and the quality of the room darkening depend on the correct measurements.
For an open roller blind system, measure the width (X) and height (Y) of the glass with the glazing beads. Please note that there should be 20-25 mm of free space on the sides of the glazing beads for mounting brackets.
To install the blinds on a skylight, you need to measure the width (X) and height (Y) in the middle of the sealing rubber between the glass and the glazing bead.
To install a blind on a skylight, you need to measure the width (X) and height (Y) in the middle of the sealing gum between the glass and the glazing bead. (Green markings)
To install a pleated blind on a glazing bead, you will need to measure the width (X) and height (Y) together with the glazing bead. (Yellow markings)
